Washington, Apr 17 : Bizarre as it may seem, but Madonna, Canadian singer Celine Dion and Duchess of Cornwell, Camilla, are all related to each other.
A review of family history has revealed the three ladies have descended from the same French carpenter.
A family history archive scanned Canadian records dating back more than 300 years from 1621 and proclaimed all three women to be linked by the same ancestor.
According to ancestry.co.uk, Camilla, the second wife of British royal Prince Charles, superstar Madonna and Dion are all descended from Frenchman Zacharie Cloutier.
The website's spokesman Simon Harper seemed ecstatic about the surprising results.
"The fact that Camilla and Madonna are related, however distantly, highlights the truly unpredictable and entertaining nature of family history research," Contactmusic quoted Harper, as saying.
