UP: Hindu Mahasabha to agitate against price hike
Lucknow, Apr 17: Akhil Bharat Hindu Mahasabha will hold a state wide demonstration in Uttar Pradesh on April 21 to protest the price rise of essential commodities and recent hike of power tariff in the state.
Party' UP unit secretary general Kamlesh Tiwari in a statement here today said the demonstration would be held in all the district headquarters.
Holding both the Centre and the UP government responsible for the the price rise of essential commodities, Mr Tiwari said now the rise of power tariff by the UP government has added to the woes of the people.
Demanding that efforts should be made to take action against the hoarders and the blackmarketeers, the Hindu Mahasabha leader said till the prices of essential commodities come down, his party will continue its agitation.
