Indore, Apr 16 (UNI) Introducing a fresh concept of shopping in the country, Network18 today launched HomeShop18, India's first 24-hour free-to-air home-shopping channel.
HomeShop18 has taken the next leap and launched the home-shopping channel after a successful pilot phase during which it garnered about four lakh customers and built a robust range of about 10,000 products.
In its first phase, the channel would reach viewers in over 700 cities with a population of over one lakh. ''This will be followed shortly by a launch in the metros,'' Homeshop18 Chief Executive Officer Sandeep Malhotra told reporters here.
HomeShop18 promises to bring to its viewers interesting content and programming of international production quality through its state-of-the-art studio and extensive infrastructure.
Starting off with an e-commerce portal, HomeShop18 became a full-fledged 24 - hour channel in a span of just one year.
HomeShop18 caters to the needs of four lakh customers and has over 200 reputed brands on board. The channel has developed a nationwide distribution capability to reach over 1,600 cities.
