MP CM mocks Rahul's ''love for Dalits''
Bhopal, Apr 16 (UNI) Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan today alleged that Congress General Secretary Rahul Gandhi's love for Dalits was actually ''love for votes'' and added that they would not be benefitted through somebody sleeping at their residence.
''If such a step woud have done any good then I would have done so several times. Solid steps should be taken if dalits are to be benefitted. Mr Gandhi spent last night at a tribal's village hut and it was learnt in the morning that he was resting at a hotel,'' the Chief Minister told journalists here this evening.
Regarding the Amethi MP suddenly reaching this state's Tikamgarh district last night and the administration having no advance intimation, Mr Chouhan said he welcomed every person visiting Madhya Pradesh.
''If the Congress President and Prime Minister arrive they are welcome but the Centre should make relief funds available for drought-affected areas,'' he added.
