Bangalore, Apr 16 (UNI) The Bharatiya Janata Party today alleged that the distribution of voters' cards by the Election Commission was a 'big mess' and demanded that the process be expedited ahead of the elections to the Karnataka Assembly next month.
Former minister Ramachandragowda told reporters here that the present system of distribution of EPIC was inadequate and there was a need to set up more units and helplines, besides extending timings to distribute the cards.
Referring to the seizure of large quantity of liquor in several parts of the State, he alleged that the Congress and JD (S) were behind the illegal movement of liquor in the State in the last few days.
He alleged that more number of cases were being foisted on BJP leaders and workers with ulterior motives.
