Badal inaugurates Mata Jaswant Kaur Memorial Primary School

Badal, Muktsar, Apr 16 (UNI) Chief Minister Parkash Singh Badal today dedicated Mata Jaswant Kaur Memorial Primary School to the people with a view to emparting quality education to the underprivileged children to enable them to compete on a par with the students of the public schools.

Addressing a gathering on the occasion, Mr Badal said the school, in the memory of his mother Jaswant Kaur, would offer an ideal platform to the children deprived of means of education to excel in their career.

He said all the students admitted to this school would be provided free education including facilities of books, meals, uniforms and even transport.

The Chief Minister lamented that the children of the affluent section of the society had far more resources than the poor and needy who could not even afford to teach their children in the government schools.

He appealed the key players of the corporate sectors to come forward to take up such noble ventures to impart quality education free of cost to the children who had almost no resources at their end.
