Whirlpool to invest $40-50 mln for product innovation
New Delhi, Apr 15 (UNI) Whirlpool India today said it will invest 40-50 million dollars in the next three years for product innovation.
''We will invest 40-50 million dollars in next three years for product innovation,'' company Vice President (Marketing) Shantanu Dasgupta told reporters here.
The company has tripled its investments in the country over the last few years, he added.
Whirlpool has three manufacturing units in Faridabad, Pune and Puducherry. ''We have enough capacity to supply in tnhe country.
We increase the capacity as the need arises,'' Mr Dasgupta added.
The company invests about 12-15 million dollars every 12-18 months towards product innovation and research and development.
