1,249
crore
(up
9%
YoY)
as
compared
to
Rs
1,231
crore
in
previous
quarter
and
revenue
at
Rs
4,542
crore
(20
per
cent
YoY)
versus
Rs
4,271
crore,
QoQ.
It
has
posted
FY08
net
profit
of
Rs
4659
crore
as
against
Rs
3856
crore
in
FY07
and
net
sales
at
Rs
16692
crore
versus
Rs
13893
crore.
The
company
says
they
have
added
one
USD
300
million
client
in
Q4
and
in
total,
added
40
clients
during
the
quarter.
Net
addition
of
employees
stood
at
5947.
Besides, Infosys has decided to increase the dividend pay-out ratio to up to 30 per cent of net profits effective from fiscal 2009, the company added. The company has recommended a final dividend of Rs 7.25 per share (145% on an equity share par value Rs.5) and a special dividend of Rs.20/- per share (400% on an equity share par value Rs 5). The IT bellwether expects revenues to grow 19-21 per cent and is likely to reach $5 billion in fiscal 2009.
