BJP member Capt. Nishad disqualified from Rajya Sabha
New Delhi, Apr 15 (UNI) Capt. Jai Narain Prasad Nishad, a BJP member of the Rajya Sabha, has been disqualified from the House for indulging in 'anti-party' activities.
The announcement was made today by Rajya Sabha Chairman Hamid Ansari during Zero Hour.
The disqualification of Capt. Nishad, who was elected to the House from Bihar, will be with effect from March 26, 2008, Mr Ansari said.
