Uttar Pradesh: 7 pilgrims killed in road mishap

Etah, Apr 15: At least seven pilgrims, comprising two women and a minor, were killed and 21 others severely injured after a tractor trolley loaded with them overturned here today. The mishap is reported from Marhara town, where the ill-fated vehicle, coming from Bilram, turned turtle, police said.

While seven pilgrims died on the spot, the injured were rushed to hospital, where the condition of 12 was said to be critical. The deceased were residents of Kuramai village in Marhara area, who had gone to Bilram on Ram Navmi last night.
