Two killed as train rams into road-roller
Raigarh, Apr 13 (UNI) Two people were killed and the train driver was seriously injured, when the Howrah bound Gyaneshwari Super Fast Express rammed into a road-roller at a level crossing near Kalami village, about four km from here today.
Police sources said the Kurla-Howrah super fast train collided with the road roller at around 1930 hours, killing its driver and another person on the spot.
The train driver, who sustained serious injuries, was hospitalised.
Senior railway officials, who reached the spot, said an inquiry would be conducted into the circumstances which led to the accident.
