Speaking to UNI, Ms Gyari said, ''Through this peaceful rally we aim to shift attention from the Olympics to the harsh reality in Tibet. We appeal to the international community to urge the Chinese government to open Tibet to the media. Let the world know what is happening in Tibet.'' The walkouts in Parliament and support from parties across the board were also positive signs, she added.
