Need for low cost productivity stressed
Bangalore, Apr 12 (UNI) Proper exploitation of the potential capability of engineers for establishing modern manufacturing systems and cultivating product designing capabilty will help to achieve low cost productivity, according to Streamline Strategy Managing Director Takao Kasahara.
Speaking at a national seminar on low cost manufacturing organised by Automotive Component Manufacturers Association of India here today, Mr Kasahara said the main objective of low cost manufacturing was to make the manufacturers globally competitive through constistent and reliable manufacting system.
''As part of simple production planning, intiatives like launching of new products will be taken up with a commitment,'' he said.
