Johnny Borrell paid 30,000 pounds for a four-song performance

London, Apr 12 : Razorlight frontman Johnny Borrell was paid 30,000 pounds to belt out just four songs at Sony Walkman's Spring Fling bash.

The show was held at the Reliance Square venue in East London on April 10.

The best part of the deal was that, Borrell got the whole amount to himself as he did the gig without the help of his bandmates.

The rocker was able to get his asking price, as the show organizers were getting too desperate. Pete Doherty had been the first choice for the show, but the 14-week jail sentence he was handed this week put a stop to it.

And English rock band Kasabian declined the offer, as they are writing their next album.

"I would have told them to f*** off," The Sun quoted guest Danny Dyer as saying.

"He knows he wasn't first choice," he added.
