Engineer sent to jail in corruption case
Patna, Apr 11 (UNI) A special vigilance court of Patna today sent the junior engineer of state building construction department to jail in connection with a corruption case.
Officers of the state vigilance bureau produced junior engineer Promod Kumar and a contractor in the court, who were arrested yesterday for committing irregularities in construction of building of Indira Gandhi Institute of Cardiology in the premises of Patna Medical College Hospital(PMCH).
The court ordered for judicial remand for both the accused till April 24.
