Nashik, Apr 11 (UNI) The two-day 9th triennial state-level convention of the Maharashtra State College Non-Teaching Employees Confederation (MSCNTEC) will start at the H P T Arts College here from tomorrow.
State PWD Minister and Guardian Minister of the district Chhagan Bhujbal will inaugurate the convention, while Mayor Vinayak Pande will be the chief guest. MLA Dr Shobha Bachhav, MLCs Prataprao Sonawane, Jaiprakash Chhajed and Hemant Table will also be present on the occasion.
As many as 2,000 representatives of the Organisation from all over the state are expected to attend the convention. Twenty representatives from outside the state will also be present, Baburao Chavan, working president of the Organisation, said here today.
During the two-day convention the employees and representatives will hold discussions on various issues including the problems faced by the employees and their pending demands with the government.
Lectures by Pune University Vice Chancellor Dr Narendra Jadhav and Maharashtra Higher Education Director Dr M K Kulkarni have also been organised, Mr Chavan added.
