Security beefed up around Ram Janmabhoomi Complex
Ayodhya, Apr 10 (UNI) Tight security have been made around the Ram Janmabhoomi Complex in wake of the Chait Ramnavmi Mela on April 14 here.
Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP) R K S Rathore here today said police force, comprising 20 sub-inspectors, 45 head constables, 142 constables, four company CRPF and six company PAC had been garrisoned at the complex.
Besides, intelligence cover has also been heightened in the area.
Yesterday, Deputy Inspector General of Police (security) Chandra Dev Tiwari took stock of the situation.
Besides, security at other famous temples of the city, including Hanuman Garhi and Sita Rasoi, had been hiked and public places like railway stations, bus terminals, hotels and 'dharamshalas' kept under close vigil.
