Out of court settlement between Sampath and Roshan
Mumbai, Apr 10 (UNI) The dispute over infringement of copyright of of composer Ram Sampath's music by film-maker Rakesh Roshan in his latest movie 'Krazzy4', has been resolved amicably between both the parties.
Music director Ram Sampath has settled the matter out of court, paving the way for scheduled release of the film tomorrow.
''We have amicably settled the matter and the film will be released as per schedule,'' Sampath told reporters here today.
Sampath had slapped a legal notice on Rakesh and Rajesh Roshan for alleged copyright infringement.
According to the notice, Sampath had produced a 60-second advertisement jingle for a mobile company's advertisement titled 'the Thump', that has been used in four songs in the film Krazzy4, including the title song, the credit for which has been given to music director Rajesh Roshan, instead of Ram Sampath.
Sampath had demanded a compensation of Rs two crore from the Roshans' and had requested a court to give an injunction and prevent them from using his jingles in the film.
