Nashik, Apr 10 (UNI) The first ever Indo-French Wine Summit, organised by the Franco-Indian Network of Sustainable Business (FINSB), will be held in Paris and Bordeaux in France, from July 17 to 19 many companies from Nashik will participate in the event.

The event has been organised by the Franco-Indian Network of Eonologists (FINE), the wine industry segment of FINSB. More than 400 companies from France and India will gather under one roof, during the event, to develop bilateral trade and exchanges in the key domain of wine.

''Both the sides have a lot of opportunities for mutual collaboration in this booming sector and our idea behind holding the wine summit is to provide a platform for fruitful and dynamic exchanges between businessmen, grape growers and wine makers from India and France. This will lead to a strong growth in wine trade between the two countries,'' President of the Nashik Valley Wine Producers' Association and Vice President of Sula Wines, Mr Pradeep Panchpatil has said.

''We propose to set up a dedicated centre for the development of Indo-French co-operation in the wine industry. With offices in India as well as France, FINE will act as a nodal B2B centre for the development of bilateral relations in this space,'' said Asgar Khan, CEO of Birla Viking Travels.
