Air Marshal Barbora visits Dalhousie IAF Station
Chandigarh, Apr 10 (UNI) Air Marshal P K Barbora, Air Officer Commanding-in-Chief, Western Air Command visited Air Force Station, Dalhousie to familiarise himself with the working of this one of the important non-flying stations of the Indian Air Force.
Station Commander, Group Captain M Surender Reddy gave the Air Marshal a presentation on the role and activities of the station yesterday, an official release said here today.
The Air Marshal interacted with all the air warriors, civilians and MES staff of the station.
He lauded their efforts in maintaining high standards of the station and also in meeting all the tasks entrusted to the station, in spite of the difficult and adverse weather conditions especially during the month of February this year.
President OF AFWWA (Regional) Arundhati Barbora who accompanied the Air Marshal held a meeting with the executive committee members of the AFWWA (Local), wherein she was briefed about the activities being carried out by the Association.
