Yes Bank posts double fold growth for FY-08
Mumbai, Apr 9 (UNI) India's private sector bank Yes Bank has resistered 112 per cent increase in net profit at Rs 200.02 crore for the year ended March 31, 2008 against Rs 94.36 crore in fiscal year 2007.
The total income grew to Rs 1,665.35 crore for the year, increasing by 88.9 per cent, from Rs 782.17 crore a year ago, the Bank said here today.
Announcing the annual results, Bank Managing Director and CEO Rana Kapoor said, ''Concrete business strategy and relentless efforts of our top management leadership have resulted in significant growth of various existing business, while adding several products and services to cater the needs of future industries of the country.'' The Bank had also posted an advance growth of 50 per cent at Rs 9,430 crore and deposit growth of 61.5 per cent at Rs 13,273 crore, Mr Kapoor asserted.
