SAIL adopts three villagers of Vaishali district
Patna, Apr 9 (UNI) Steel Authority of India Limited(SAIL) is committed to the development of rural population by creating avenues of employment in villages.
Official sources said here yesterday that SAIL had adopted three villages in Vaishali district in north Bihar under its National Rural Steel Policy for the development of rural segment in the country.
Work was in progress in all the three villages for civic and educational development, sources said.
Scheduled caste dominated Sultanpur and Yusufpur villages near Hajipur were the first to be adopted by SAIL where the construction of new schools and renovation of old government institutions besides, erecting light posts in these villages had already been initiated, sources added.
