Chennai, Apr 9 (UNI) Leading airline service provider Kingfisher Airlines today announced that it would launch services in six new sectors and would add Chandigarh to the network of cities served by it.
From April 14, 2008, the airlines would offer two daily direct flights from Chennai to Coimbatore. The flights in this new route would be operated using brand new ATR aircraft featuring personalized in-flight entertainment on every seat, gourmet cuisine and world class service, a release said here.
Besides this, the airlines would also introduce services in five other routes. For the first time, it would offer a daily return flight between New Delhi and Chandigarh and a daily direct flight between Delhi and Goa.
It would also add one more daily direct flight between New Delhi and Hyderabad, taking the total number of daily flights on that route to three flights a day.
The airlines would also launch a daily direct flight from Mumbai to Chandigarh and between Mumbai and Ahmedabad. The launch of services to Chandigarh marks the launch of operations for Kingfisher Airlines in Chandigarh.
With the launch of these new services, the airlines would now have 250 departures a day and would serve 39 destinations with a fleet of 42 brand new aircrafts, the release added.
