Devotees throng temples during Navratri festival
New Delhi/Varanasi, April 07, 2008: Hindu devotees across India thronged temples to offer prayers on the second day of the nine-day Navratri festival.
In the national capital New Delhi, scores of devotees queued up outside the Jhandewalan temple since early morning to offer prayers. The temples in India's northern Ayodhya also witnessed the presence of a large number of devotees who offered prayers to seek the deity's blessings.
