India demands visa on arrival in Singapore
Singapore, Apr 6, 2008 : India's federal tourism minister Ambika Soni has demanded Singapore to extend visa on arrival facilities to its citizens. After inaugurating the celebrations on the second day of the Incredible India at the rate 60 campaign in the country, Soni said the demand has been conveyed to Singapore's interior ministry.
Meanwhile, the cultural ministers of India and Singapore called for closer cultural ties between the two countries.
