Samsung's outer space digital cameras
Chennai, Apr 8 (UNI) Samsung digital cameras have been chosen by Russia's Energia as ''outer space digital cameras'' and in a world first, the Samsung NV camera has received final approval to be used at the space station.
The outer space digital cameras from Samsung, two cameras -- one DSLR camera and one NV camera plus batteries -- would be flying on the Soyuz spacecraft and delivered to the Korean astronaut Soyeon Lee and Russian scientists.
The cameras would be used to record daily life in space for ten days and the camera's capabilities would be tested in the outer space environment for seven days, a company release here said today.
