Hyderabad, Apr 8 (UNI) Minister of State for Defence M M Pallam Raju today admitted that there was dissatisfaction among the partymen in Andhra Pradesh over the Union Cabinet reshuffle.
Talking to reporters here, the Minister, even while maintaining that cabinet reshuffle was the prerogative of Prime Minister Manmohan Singh, said the exercise had left many partymen in the state ''dissatisfied''.
The exercise was undertaken by the Prime Minister to provide Cabinet berth to MPs from those states, which so far did not have any representation in the Cabinet, and spare the services of some Ministers for party work in the election year, Mr Raju said, adding that dropping of Mr Dasari Narayana Rao and Mr T Subbirami Reddy from the Union Ministry did not reflect on their capabilities.
On Telugu Matinee Idol Chiranjeevi's possible entry into politics, he said, ''let him first make an announcement. The actor has a good standing and his entry is likely to do good for the state.'' UNI SM VA GD SB HT1622
