Kingfisher Training Academy opens 3 centres in Delhi
New Delhi, Apr 8 (UNI) As Delhi International Airport is expected to become the busiest airport in the country by 2010, Kingfisher Training Academy has geared up to set up shop in the capital.
''We will open three centres in Delhi, and hope to train at least 7,000 candidates over the next three years,'' Academy's chief mentor Rajesh Verma said in a statement today.
''With the Cricket World Cup and the Commonwealth Games a few years away, the requirement for crew and allied support ground staff besides those for hospitality-related services will soar in the years to come,'' he said.
The Academy will have three centres at Rajouri Garden, NDSE Part-I and Kingsway Camp with the admission office at Meghdoot Building, Nehru Place.
By 2010, the Academy would have 25 such centres across the country, Mr Verma said.
''Within the next two months, we will have 11 such centres operational,'' he added.
He said the Academy might even consider setting up centres in SAARC countries and the West Asia.
