Japanese parliamentarians to monitor Nepal election
Kathmandu, Apr 8 : Two Japanese parliamentarians will reach Nepal tomorrow to monitor the Constituent Assembly elections that will be held on Thursday.
Tadahiko Ito, member of the House of Representatives and Gaku Hashimoto, Member of the House of Representatives and son of late Ryutaro Hashimoto, former Prime Minister of Japan, will arrive in Kathmandu on April 9, nepalnews.com reported.
During their three-day visit, the two parliamentarians will visit various polling stations located in Kathmandu valley to observe the manner in which the election is conducted.
They will also meet Minister for Foreign Affairs Sahana Pradhan and other political leaders and election officials.
