London, Apr 8 : Music fans who have already bought tickets for the Glastonbury festival are demanding answers over rapper Jay-Z's plans to pull out of the event.
Glastonbury, held from June 27 to 29, had previously been billed as Jay-Z's only UK festival this year.
However, the official announcement he is pulling out is still expected imminently.
After the reports became public, the ticket-holders demanded to be told if organizers knew about the question marks over his appearance before they bought their tickets.
On April 6, hours after tickets went on sale, Glasto chief Michael Eavis denied that he was aware of any rumours that Jay-Z was on the verge of scrapping his performance at the world-famous festival.
"The festival organizers heard the rumours he was considering pulling out of the festival late last week. Obviously they still hoped it could be sorted out, which they still do. But there will be people who bought tickets for the festival because they wanted to see Jay-Z," The Sun quoted a source, as saying.
"If the Glastonbury organizers let people do that while knowing there were doubts then that seems unfair.
"When he does announce he is not playing, those people should be entitled to full refunds," the source added.
