Mumbai, Apr 7 (UNI) Painter Prithvi Soni paid tribute to his friend of many decades, showman Subhash Ghai, by exhibiting his works that transcend time at the Art Desh art gallery here.
With an array of his works that transcends decades and discovers not just the looks and the feel of Ghai's films, Soni also captured the different looks of the showman's myriad stars at their colourful best.
Other than the works of Ghai, Indian old men, whose grey beards spoke of their wizened experience, matched the master to his very strokes.
''I have been associated with Prithvi Soni for the last so many years,'' said Subhash Ghai.
Prithvi Soni acknowledged that Ghai has been a ''guiding light'' to him.
''There is so much I have learnt as we both worked together for three decades,'' expressed Soni, who gifted Ghai a special work that encompassed 'Black and White' and the current 'Yuvraj'. The exhibition opened last Saturday.
