Patna, Apr 7 (UNI) The state government has decided to establish Bihar State Overseas Employment Bureau for assisting those seeking jobs abroad.
Inaugurating a workshop of the employment officers here, Deputy Chief Minister Sushil Kumar Modi today said the bureau would provide all relevent information to job seekers about the countries, where they were wishing to migrate.
'' Keeping in mind the cultural and language variance as major hinderance in early days of settling abroad, the bureau will also organise 'pre-departure orientation programme' for job seekers, '' Mr Modi said adding they would be informed about the various facets of the culture, food habits and other details of their destinations.
He said more than one lakh people had obtained passports during the last financial year, and most of them were job seekers in abroad.
'' More than 5000 unemployed youths have availed the facilities of on-line registration in employment office aftet it was launched in May 2007, '' he informed.
