IMA releases health magazine on World Health Day

Patna, Apr 7: Indian Medical Association(IMA) here released ''Your Health'', its national news magazine on heatlh and related awareness on the eve of ''World Health Day'' yesterday.

Releasing the magazine, eminent physician and former Head of the department of Medicine Patna Medical College, Dr Gopa Prasad here said, role of the doctors in the eradication of chronic diseases is vital and the medical fraternity therefore had the responsibility to educate the masses on the ill effects of such menace.

He maintained, the IMA journal was released to fulfil the needs of the people on health-related information and needs of the practicing doctors in particular.

This was for the first time that this internationally-acclaimed magazine of IMA was released here and a Bihar-based physician and Diabetologist Dr Ajay Kumar became the guest editor for the magazine.
