Govt is committed to development in Bihar: Thakur
Patna, Apr 7 (UNI) State Land Reforms and Revenue Minister Ramnath Thakur has said that the Nitish Kumar-led NDA government is committed to carrying the developmental works forward on war-footing.
Addressing the people during several inaugural ceremonies of various developmental schemes from MLA funds last evening, Mr Thakur said that our government is committed to turning Bihar into a developed state by accelerating the pace of developmental works in different sectors of the society.
He maintained that the objectives of the government was to approach the common people by redressing their grievances. He said that unless the aspirations of the people were fulfilled, development in the state will remain meaningless.
'' We have achieved a lot in the field of education, health and road construction in North Bihar, including Samastipur and we are committed for the development in other departments,'' he added.
The rural population, comprising mainly of Dalits, will be connected with the main roads and their problems like housing would be solved very soon, the minister stated.
