Congress alleges corruption during Koda regime in Jharkhand
Jamshedpur, Apr 7 (UNI) The Congress today alleged that the corruption graph has gone up during the tenure of the Madhu Koda government in Jharkhand.
''The government has failed to fulfill the purpose of developing the state as the development work was stalled and the Centre's funds earmarked for the development projects remained unutilised,'' party spokeaman, Mohan Prakash said.
He, however, did not say anything on withdrawing support from the government, adding that the Congress had already expressed its intention to the UPA allies and a unanimous decision would be taken in an ''appropriate'' time.
On the issue of price rise, the Congress leader said there were several external and internal reasons behind sharp increase of prices of essential commodities and claimed that the Centre was exploring all ways and means to curb the price hike.
Mr Prakash also criticised BJP's Prime Ministerial candidate L K Advani for his ''controversial'' book ''My Country My Life'' and alleged that some the statements in the book were distorted.
