Videocon plans Rs 25 cr token investment in JK
Jammu, Apr 6: Videocon Group, an Indian multinational manufacturing electronic and home appliances, plans a token investment of Rs 25 crore to begin with in Jammu and Kashmir during current financial year, Chairman Venugopal N Dhoot today said.
''We have plans to invest Rs 25 crore as token in our bio-tech unit to be set-up in J&K,'' Mr Dhoot told the sources on the sidelines of a function here. The Videocon chairman, who was in the state to submit the ASSOCHAM's study projecting J&K's export potential, said he has got a positive response from Chief Minister Ghulam Nabi Azad in this regard.
Mr Dhoot also hinted at supplementary investments in the state, as it offers immense business opportunities for industries.
