Union Cabinet reshuffle likely today
New Delhi, April 6 : The Union Cabinet is likely to be reshuffled this evening.
According to sources, President Pratibha Patil would administer the oath of office and secrecy to the ministers around 7:00 p.m. at Rashtrapati Bhavan.
Some of the new faces that are likely to be inducted in the Cabinet are: Jyotiraditya Scindia, Sachin Pilot, V Hanumantha Rao, RJD's Raghunath Jha, and DMK chief M Karunanidhi's daughter Kanimozhi
Sources in the Congress Party said that some ministers, who are holding two portfolios and have been given additional charge of their home State, may have to shed their one portfolio, and some may even take charge of the state in a full-fledged way.
Some of the ministers who are handling dual charges are P R Dasmunshi, Suresh Pachauri, Saifuddin Soz, Prithviraj Chavan and Ajay Maken.
Reports suggest that Vayalar Ravi of the DMK may get the Parliamentary Affairs Ministry.
