Houston, Apr 6 (UNI) Jeev Milkha Singh fired a 72 to slip to the tied 52nd position after the penultimate round of the 5.6 million dollar Houston Open, here.
Jeev started on a positive note, parring his first two holes before sinking a birdie on the 12th.
Making the turn one-under, the Indian had a bogey on the second hole and a double bogey on the sixth.
He, however, made amends, picking up birdies on the seventh and eighth.
Johnson Wagner of the US continued to lead the field with a 69.
However, his compatriot Chad Campbell returned a sizzling 65 cut his lead to just one stroke with a total of 15-under 201.
Campbell, who turned in a fine performance, fired seven birdies and an eagle against a couple of bogeys.
