Sonipat, Apr 6 (UNI) The Indian National Lok Dal(INLD) today asked its workers to be prepared for by-elections to the Vidhan Sabha seats of Indri, Adampur and Gohana and the next Lok Sabha polls.

This was stated by INLD president and former Haryana chief minister Mr Om Parkash Chautala while addressing the INLD Haryana state executive here.

All state office bearers and members, Political Affairs Committee members, district presidents, conveners of various cells, former and sitting MPs, MLAs participated in the meeting.

In the five resolutions passed in the meeting, INLD criticised the state government for its all-round failure to provide electricity, water, deteriorating law and order, spiralling price rise, non-construction on SYL canal and fake debt relief scheme. The party has also demanded compensation and relief to hail storm affected farmers. The INLD chief said the party would win all the three assembly seats in the coming bye-elections. He said the INLD is an organisation of committed party workers and the party is in a position to contest elections at a notice of 24 hours.

Mr Chautala announced that the party had called a meeting on April 14 at Indri and on April 15 at Gohana and Adampur to decide the party candidates for the by-elections to these three Assembly seats. State INLD president, Mr Ashok Arora would preside over the three meetings.

He said the people of the state were suffering due to rising prices. He said the government had failed miserably to control the rising prices of all daily use commodities and life of a common man has become miserable and difficult.
