Bhopal, Apr 5 (UNI) Courtesy an upper air cycer built over eastern Madhya Pradesh, light rainfall continued in most parts of the state bringing down temperature by 3-4 degree Celsius below normal.
''The phase of rainfall is expected to get over in a few days as the upper air cycer is moving towards Chhattisgarh,'' a Regional Meteorological Department spokesperson said.
Showers accompanied with lightning was predicted at isolated places in the state except Hoshangabad division. Hailstorm was likely in Gwalior, Chambal, Jabalpur, Sagar and Rewa divisions.
The state capital witnessed passing clouds. A maximum temperature of 32 C, three notches below normal, was recorded, while the minimum was 16.8 C, two marks below normal.
Strong winds lashed Barwani where rural areas received downpour for half an hour.
Maximum temperature hovered around 31-33 C in most places.
