Jamuna alleges rampant corruption in MP
Betul, MP, Apr 5 (UNI) Expressing serious concern over spiralling corruption in Madhya Pradesh, Leader of Opposition in Assembly Jamuna Devi said today that development pace had declined in the state due to corruption.
Addressing about half a dozen election meetings in Shahpur block in support of Congress candidate for Betul Lok Sabha byelection, Ms Jamuna Devi said corruption was pinching the common man more than price rise.
''The state government is giving protection to hoarders,'' she alleged.
She also alleged that the state government was misusing funds made available by the Centre for various schemes.
