Gandharva Samaroh in Dewas from Apr 8
Bhopal, Apr 5 (UNI) A two-day 'Kumar Gandharva Samaorh' -- organised under the joint auspices of Ustad Alauddin Khan Sangeet Evam Kala Academy and the Madhya Pradesh Culture department -- would get underway in Dewas on April 8.
Culture Minister Lakshmikant Sharma would inaugurate the programme at Malhar Smriti Mandir in Dewas. Sports and Youth Welfare Minister Tukojirao Puar would preside over the function.
Mumbai-based violinist Kala Ramnath would be honoured with the Rashtriya Kumar Gandharva Samman on the occasion. She would render a violin performance.
Bangalore-based Bhuvanesh Komkali and Vinayak Torvi would make a vocal presentation.
On the second day, Pune-based Meena Farperkar and Subhash Vyas would render vocal performance.
