Shahrukh boasts of good relations with the big B

Mumbai, Apr 4 (UNI) Film actor Shahrukh Khan today asserted that he shared good relations with Megastar Amitabh Bachchan, contrary to the views floated by media frequently on 'Badshahs and Shahenshahs'.

Addressing a press conference, during the launch of Global Indian Account of the ICICI Bank, for which he is the brand ambassador, he said he had pleasant exchanges with the big B whenever they met and shared good time during the making of the film 'Bhoothnath'.

Recently during a four hour break in the shooting of Bhoothnath, they had exchanged notes about his realty show ''Panchvee pass'', Mr Bachchan asked several questions, he is a great quizzer, he added.

''I have great respect and regard for him and he has warmth and love for me,'' King Khan said, adding that both have great mutual respect. We have grown beyond this, he said referring to the frequent reports about sour relations between the two actors.

On the shooting of his show ''Panchvee pass'', he said it was going briskly the shooting would continue for six more days.

Shahrukh declined to comment on reports that actor Akshay Kumar had signed up for the IPL Dare Devil team at a price of Rs 1.5 crore.

'If it is so, it's good' is all that he said, adding that entry of more film stars in such shows enhance opportunities of players in Bollywood.

He declined to state that he was setting any trend of appearing on the television shows. Several actors had done it in the past, he said and mentioned the 'Kaun Banega Crorepati' series of Amitabh Bachchan. Karishma Kapoor, Madhuri Dikshit, Govinda and Manisha Koirala have done it in the past, he said adding ''more the merrier''.

Asked how he managed time for film shooting despite being busy with ''panchvee pass'' and 'Kolkata Knightriders', his team in the IPL, the King Khan said he was a workacholic.

He said he never looks to a dull moment and if he did not work for 20 hours in a day he would have an headache.

On the release of Pakistani film 'Khuda Ke Liye', he said he welcomes greater exchange of films between India and Pakistan. ''I was told it was a good film'' he said, adding that such exchange of films was another avenue for improving relations between the two countries.
