Kodiyeri blames media for propagating false reports
Thiruvananthapuram, Apr 4 (UNI) Stating that no one has been isolated in the CPI(M), new Polit bureau member Kodiyeri Balakrishnan today blamed the media and certain forces for propagating such false reports.
When asked about a newspaper report of Kerala Chief Minister V S Achutanandan being isolated in the party after Mr Balakrishnan rose to the highest decision-making body, he told newspersons here that the CPI(M) always had a collective leadership and no one was above the party.
Admitting that certain problems existed in the party earlier due to some propaganda by certain forces, he said after the state CPI(M) Congress in Kottayam no such problems existed in the party.
He said groupism would not be tolerated in the party and it would be dealt with severely.
The guidelines, approved by the 19th Party Congress for the Left-ruled states, would be followed in Kerala, he added.
