Bangalore, Apr 4 (UNI) Indian pace bowler Ishant Sharma reported for a fitness test at National Cricket Academy (NCA) here today.
The speedster, who is recouping from a toe and finger injury, would under go a practice session at the NCA.
Ishant, who was adviced two-week rest by former physio John Gloster, was asked by the BCCI to report at NCA for a fitness test before being considered for nationl squad.
At NCA, he would be closely watched by conditioning coach Paul Champion and Vaibhav Daga.
Ishant suffered the injuries during the ODI tri-series in Australia.
Meanwhile, left-arm spinner Murali Kartik, who injured his left ankle, was expected to report at NCA tomorrow.
Besides Ishant, Joginder Sharma, V R V Singh and UP medium pacer Sandeep Tyagi are undergoing rehabilitation in the Academy.
