Chandigarh, Apr 4: The Indo-Pak Tennis Series will be played in October/November this year.
Stating this here today All India Tennis Association executive vice-president and secretary general Anil Khanna said that two ties would be played in India at Delhi and Chandigarh. Mr Khanna, who is also president of the Asian Tennis Federation, said the dates for the series would be finalised by the AITA and Pakistan Tennis Federation. Mr Khanna, who is here to watch singles semi-finals and doubles final in the 10,000 US Dollers India F5 Futures ITF Men's Circuit at the CLTA Stadium, said that format for the two-match series would be modified to suit both countries. Two singles and one doubles matches would be played at one venue.
As Pakistan Tennis Federation may also be keen to play one tie in Lahore, AITA and PTF would hold discussions on staging of the Indo-Pak tennis series, he said.
