Brit schoolboy breaks world record by balancing 16 spoons on his face

London, April 4 : A 9-year-old British boy has entered record books by balancing 16 spoons on his face.

Joe Allison smashed the previous world record of 15 spoons when he hung the silverware from his forehead, nose, cheeks, chin and ears.

Joe discovered his talent two years ago when his cousin challenged him to balance a spoon on his nose.

He started practicing his unusual hobby every day since then and can now hang a total of 16 spoons off his face - five from his forehead, one from his nose, two from his chin, three from each cheek and one from each ear.

Record-breaker Joe is now set to appear on TV show Britain's Got Talent - where he will hang the spoons from his face and do a little jig.

"I'm really proud of him because he can do something no one else in the world can do. It works even better if Joe's sweaty but I don't let him get away without washing," the Telegraph quoted Joe's mother Fenella, as saying.
