AP to fill up vacant posts in govt hospitals
Hyderabad, Apr 4 (UNI) Andhra Pradesh Vidya Vidhana Parishad Minister V Venkateswara Rao today said 91 doctors, 491 paramedical staff and 491 attender posts would be filled up in the government hospitals.
Addressing a press conference here, Mr Rao said the posts would be filled up by the end of this May. Besides, 36 Professors and 32 Assistant Professors would also be recruited, he added.
Stating that the cabinet had approved to fill up 50 Drug Inspector posts during this year, he said the government had allocated Rs 100 crore in the budget to promote Ayurveda, Homeo and Yoga therapies in the state.
Referring to the demand of increasing salary to the government doctors, the minister said he would hold discussions with the doctors on April eight to reslove their demand.
