Anti-inflation measures will have impact in few weeks: Congress
New Delhi, Apr 4 (UNI) With the inflation rate surging to a three year high at 7.0 per cent, the Congress today said the impact of the anti-inflation measures taken by the Centre would be known within a few weeks.
"You will see the collective, cumulative impact in the next few weeks," AICC spokesman Abhishek Manu Singhvi said, while highlighting the six major measures taken by the Centre to bring down prices of essential commodities and rising inflation.
Asked
to
specify
the
timeframe
when
the
impact
would
be
felt,
he
said
he
would
not
be
able
to
give
any
specific
date,
but
said
it
will
happen
"within
a
shortest
appropriate
time."
