Another daylight loot in Yamunanagar in two days
Yamaunanagar, Apr 4 (UNI) In another daring daylight robbery, criminals fled with Rs two lacks for the second time in less than 24 hours here today.
The robbers used the same modus operandi of smashing the windowpane of the car to rob a trader as had been done yesterday.
The victim, Nem Chand Jain, of village Buria in the district who runs an agency of 'desi ghee', was coming here after making collections of Rs two lakhs this afternoon.
He stopped the car opposite the ESI hospital to re-charge his mobile and his driver also got off the vehicle.
On their return, they were shocked to find the front windowpane broken and the bag containing the money missing.
Jagadhary police have registered a case.
Yesterday, a paper trader Sompal Singh Chauhan, was looted of Rs three lakh in a similar manner near Nehru Park Road. The police had claimed to beef up security after the incident.
